Alerts
Telegram Integration
Receive API breaking change alerts via Telegram bot.
Telegram alerts require a Pro plan.
Setup
- Open @VarenAlertsBot on Telegram
- Send
/start— the bot will reply with your chat ID - Copy the chat ID
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Telegram
- Paste your chat ID and click Connect
- The bot will send a test message to confirm the connection
Enable per API
After connecting, enable Telegram alerts for each API:
- Go to Dashboard → click on the API → Settings
- Under Alert Routing, check Telegram
- Click Save
What Telegram alerts look like
Telegram alerts include:
- API name with a breaking change indicator
- Description of each change
- Affected endpoint (if applicable)
- A link to view full details in the Varen dashboard
Bot commands

Disconnecting
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Telegram and click Disconnect. Your chat ID will be removed and you will stop receiving Telegram alerts.
If you cancel your Pro plan, Telegram is automatically disconnected.
